Subscription options
KanjiKanji Modern offers two auto-renewable subscriptions and one non-consumable lifetime purchase. All prices in US dollars; local pricing may vary by region.
- Premium Monthly — $9.99/month. Includes a 1-week free trial for new subscribers.
- Premium Yearly — $79.99/year. Includes a 1-week free trial for new subscribers. Saves 33% vs. monthly billing.
- Premium Lifetime — $99.99 one-time. No subscription, no auto-renewal.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price as the original subscription (subject to price change notification).
Free trials
- The 1-week trial on Monthly and Yearly is available to new subscribers only.
- If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged. The trial period continues until its scheduled end date.
- Trial converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Managing your subscription
You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription in the App Store:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Select KanjiKanji Modern.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or change plan, change billing).
On a Mac, manage subscriptions through the App Store app → your account → View Information → Subscriptions.
Cancellation stops future renewals; it is not prorated. When you cancel, your subscription does not end immediately. Premium access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then the subscription ends and is not renewed. You are not charged again, and you do not receive a refund or credit for the unused remainder of the current period.
No refunds — all sales are final
All purchases are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, credits, or partial refunds for any subscription period or one-time purchase, including unused or partially used periods. This applies whether you change your mind, forget to cancel before a renewal, cancel partway through a paid period, are dissatisfied with the App, or lose access for breaching our Terms of Service.
Because every purchase is processed by Apple — not by us — any refund is issued solely at Apple's discretion under Apple's policies. We do not control or process refunds directly. If you wish to ask Apple for a refund:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID that made the purchase.
- Find the KanjiKanji Modern purchase and select Report a Problem.
- Choose the appropriate reason and submit.
Apple makes the final refund decision. Nothing here limits any non-waivable refund rights you may have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country or state.
Family Sharing
Premium subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) and Lifetime Access are currently enabled for Apple Family Sharing where Apple supports it. Family Sharing setup, eligibility, and household access are managed through Apple's Family Sharing system.
Price changes
If we change subscription prices, you will be notified before the change takes effect. Continued use of Premium after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new price. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the App or use it on a new device, open Settings inside the App and tap Restore Purchases. Premium will reactivate on any device signed in to the same Apple ID that made the original purchase.
